Founder and CEO
Stacey Richolson, RVT
Stacey Richolson is a Registered Veterinary Technician that graduated from the Veterinary Technology program at Gwinnett Technical College in 2004. She also has a Bachelor’s degree in Zoology from Auburn University. She has been in the Veterinary field since 1996, but has worked exclusively in feline medicine since 2004. Stacey also was the owner of Sophisticated Mane In-Home Feline Grooming until she decided to devote all her time to PNCA.
From the time she was a child, Stacey has loved cats. She would even “adopt” the neighborhood strays, and tame and take care of them. Stacey currently shares her home with her husband and several cats of her own, plus fosters. Stacey continues to attend lectures and seminars to stay up-to-date with the latest in feline medicine and behavior. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, attending music concerts/festivals, and reading.
Founder and CFO
Tara Sorenson
Tara graduated top of her class from Reinhardt University with a BS in Biology and Associate Degree in Business Administration.  She decided to apply her education to helping cats, rather than pursue a traditional career, after the loss of her first rescue cat, Sierra, in 2014. Since then, she has helped rescue thousands of cats and placed them in loving homes. Tara’s dedication to saving animal lives and tenacity to achieve her goals is apparent to anyone who knows her. Her hands are always busy, one permanently attached to a coffee cup; the second, busy responding to calls, texts, emails, and voicemails about the cats she loves. She believes team work and education is the key to a better community and enjoys sharing her knowledge with others while enriching the lives of cats. Tara shares her home with a kitty crew of seven foster ambassadors.
Secretary
Shannon Huskins, RVT
Shannon is the owner of Paws and Purrs Feline Services, a professional cat sitting and hospice care business focused on quality care and education. She is a registered veterinary technician with experience working in feline-only practices since 1996. She has spent the last 19 years discovering her passion for felines and truly learning to “speak cat”! "All of the kitties I have known over the course of my career have taught me the true meaning of compassion, patience, empathy, joy, trust, and sadness." Shannon has committed her career to enhancing and enriching the lives of our feline companions.
Treasurer
Carrie Hughes

Carrie graduated from Southern College of Optometry in 2013, and she currently practices medical optometry in the local community as an independent contractor. She maintains her status of being therapeutically licensed to practice optometry in the states of Georgia and Florida. Prior to her optometry degree, Carrie received her two undergraduate degrees in anthropology at University of South Florida and chemistry at The University of Tampa.

Carrie has always been passionate about animals, especially cats, even from an early age. In fact, she hopes to live on a farm one day with lots of goats and roosters alongside her willing husband and fur babies. Carrie’s husband, Dwayne, shares her love of animals, which includes our gassy bulldog, three needy cats, and lovely foster kitties. Thankfully, Dwayne is in the business of IT engineering, and she can rest easy, knowing he’ll be able to fix any computer she breaks. Lastly, Carrie also loves to spend time painting with acrylics/ watercolors/mixed media, practicing yoga, surviving cross training workouts, reading vampire novels, and baking all kinds of sweets.

Camille Godwin

Camille Godwin graduated in 1992 from the Florida State University College of Law. Licensed to practice in nine states, she primarily represents clients throughout the southeast in litigation and appellate matters involving elder abuse and neglect, corporate malfeasance, and civil rights. If she had free time, Camille would like to spend it on beaches or in mountains with books and refreshing beverages. Unfortunately, she is owned by a harsh brood of taskmaster felines who do not understand the concepts of personal time or space and who will only allow her out of their sight to go to work and earn coins for their upkeep. She kind of likes it that way, allegedly.
